Communications Policy

This policy explains how Akbay Digital LLC (“Akbay Digital,” “I”) contacts you by email, phone and text message, what you agree to when you give consent, and how to stop.

Email

• Service email. When you submit the Get Started form or have a client account, I email you about your request, sign-in codes, your site, billing, plan changes and anything else needed to provide the Services. These are part of the Services, so they continue while you have an account.
• News and offers. Only if you tick the box for it. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects service email.

Phone calls

By giving your phone number in the Get Started form or your account, you agree that I may call you at that number about your request and account. Tell me any time you'd prefer another way to be reached and I'll stop calling.

Text messages (SMS)

• Opt-in only. I text you only if you tick the text-message box in the Get Started form or ask me to in writing. Agreeing to texts is never required to buy anything.
• What I send. Messages about your request and account: scheduling, project updates, reminders and billing notices. No marketing texts unless you separately agree to them.
• Frequency. Message frequency varies with your project; usually a few messages a month.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Stop or get help. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; you'll get one confirmation and no more texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact me at (404) 514-0217 or hello@akbaydigital.com.
• Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your number stays private. I don't share or sell your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their marketing. See the Privacy Policy.

Your own customers

If you use your website or office to contact your own customers, you're responsible for having their consent where the law requires it (see the Terms of Service).

Records

When you give or withdraw consent, I keep a record of what you agreed to, when, and the version of this policy you saw.
